This workshop is taking place at the Jauhari Hall of Teluk Intan Hospital on September 3, 2024 As many as 76 participants from hospitals & health clinics of Perak South Cluster consisting of Clinical Medical Specialists, Medical Officers (HO & MO), Assistant Medical Officers (PPP), Nurses & Medical Laboratory Technologists (JTMP) have attended this workshop.

This workshop has been inaugurated by HTI Deputy Director, Dr Fadzil bin Mustapa Kamal as KPPK HTI. In the morning session, talk on introduction of Pathology Department, Pathology and Transfusion Sample Management Procedures, Sampling Procedures and Aseptic Sampling Methods were delivered by Pathologists and supplier representatives.

In the evening session, a group hands-on session was held to provide exposure about pre-analytical by each unit in the Department of Pathology and Transfusion Unit.

An online quiz session (MyQuizzez) was also held to test the understanding of the participants in this workshop.

It is hoped that through this workshop participants can apply the knowledge gained in their daily tasks and pass on the knowledge to other colleagues.
